Attorney Howard S. Kirkpatrick

I opened my practice in 2007 after practicing labor, employment and employee benefits law for law firms in New York and Boston and working as in-house counsel to a division of Citigroup.

I was admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and New York in 1996.  In 2013 I was admitted to practice in Florida after taking the Florida Bar Exam.  Being able to practice law in three states provides clients who live in these states one-stop shopping and well-rounded legal knowledge.

My firm focuses on just a few areas of law to provide clients with the most sophisticated, cutting-edge legal representation.  Family history lead me to an interest in elder law and estate planning, while my years as in-house counsel and law firm experience allow me to advise clients with workplace issues.  I practice estate planning, elder law, employment law, employee benefits law, construction law, real estate and family law.

Many legal problems are avoidable or can be minimized with advanced planning.  I take an innovative approach to estate planning, employment law and elder law, like the Nursing Home Protection Plan, my affordable, 3-Step System that helps seniors protect their home and life savings from being taken by a nursing home.
